Discover the mountains, beaches and green fields of Llanes.

Llanes is a small fishing village that offers a thousand-and-one possibilities. With views of the Cantabrian Sea and the Cuera mountain range just behind it, and the Picos de Europa just a few kilometers away, it is a privileged enclave. You can enjoy mountain walking routes, discover beaches and coves, walk along the cliffs, go canyoning, tackle vías ferratas, and enjoy local folklore, dancing to the rhythm of bagpipes. All this is accompanied by local cuisine and a good drop or two of cider.

Before you travel

*Pay attention to the tides and explore the prettiest beaches depending on when they are at high or low tide. *The weather in Asturias is deceptive. So don’t forget to pack a raincoat and a warm jacket, as it gets chilly at night. *If you have the opportunity to enjoy a local party, don’t hesitate. The biggest ones are La Magdalena, San Roque and La Guía, as well as the traditional Porrúa market. *In the sea or in the mountains, it is important to have travel insurance that covers adventure sports such as that offered by IATI Escapadas.
