So get your board, your wetsuit and get ready to enjoy an incredible experience. It's not going to be easy but it will be worth it.

10hSurfing in Praia do Beliche2Day 110:30hSurfing in Praia do Beliche
After breakfast we will set off to Praia do Beliche for surfing, an incredible beach where you have to leave your car up on the cliff and go down some stone steps to the beach. There we will enjoy a good surfing session.
The beach has a sandy bottom and is not very open so if you are starting out don't be afraid as it is a very safe beach.

13hLunch at the Chiringuito on the beach3Day 113:30hLunch at the Chiringuito on the beach
After the surfing session you have to eat so there is a wooden bar on the beach itself which is the perfect place, the best views are impossible.
If you like grilled sardines, this is the place! Sardines on the beach!

16hSurfing or relaxing in Praia do Tonel4Day 116:00hSurfing or relaxing in Praia do Tonel
After lunch we will head towards Praia do Tonel an incredible beach with giant cliffs just below the Sagres Fortress. There we can relax on the beach by sunbathing or, if there is still enough energy left, take a second surfing bath until the sun goes down! There the sunsets are magical so don't forget your camera in the car.
You can park right next to the beach where there is also a beach bar. The beach is almost all sandy bottomed although in the middle there are two big stones. It is more open than Beliche so the waves here are usually more frequent and bigger.

Once we have showered and ready we will go to Three Little Birds, a nice place with a surfing atmosphere and very quiet and the best burgers in Portugal!
The tacos are very good but the hamburger thing is another level! My favourite is the Birds.

13hEating at the beach bar in Praia do Amado8Day 213:30hEating at the beach bar in Praia do Amado
Right up on the beach, next to the surf schools there is a chiringuito, where you can eat cheaply and the views are unbeatable.
It's not the best place in Portugal to eat, but there's a lot of variety and for a cheap meal it's worth it.

15hRelax the surf in Praia do Amad9Day 215:30hRelax the surf in Praia do Amad
We hurry up the 2 days break relaxing on this beach, my favourite in Portugal or the bravest, you can put on your wetsuit and have a second surfing session before going back home.
If you have time to stay until sunset, I have seen the most beautiful sunsets of my life on this beach.
Before you travel
*When you are down on the sand of beaches with cliffs, do not stick to them, as sometimes there are landslides.
*Watch out for mosquitoes, especially at sunset, they come out in their thousands so don't forget your repellent.
*Don't forget to bring or rent a wetsuit, in Portugal the water is colder than in the Mediterranean and depending on the time of year you will be cold without a wetsuit.
