Día 1110hSomiedo Natural Park: Valley Route1Day 110:00hSomiedo Natural Park: Valley Route
This impressive natural park is located at 1:30h from Oviedo. We will park in the "Valle del Lago car park" where a track begins through a valley between mountains. After 1.5h we will arrive at Somiedo Lake, the deepest lake in Asturias, where we recommend stopping for lunch and to appreciate the views. Now the normal thing would be to return to the car. But the brave ones can continue about 7km more to the Lakes of Saliencia.
The most beautiful part is the path through the valley at the beginning and the Somiedo Lake (a good place to have a snack). You can also visit the lakes of Saliencia with another simpler route starting from "Alto de la Farrapona"

It's less than a 2-hour drive to Oneta, but the fun of this route is to stop as much as you can and enjoy the views and villages. We recommend you to visit Pesoz (and taste its exquisite wine), San Esteban de los Buitres (with its old slate-roofed farmhouses), Illano and Boal (lush forests and valleys).

Día 389hLa Regalina Chapel8Day 39:00hLa Regalina Chapel
30 minutes away from Navia we have an ancient place of pilgrimage located in a unique enclave. A white chapel set on the green grass and marked by the blue of the sky and the sea, as if that were not enough, is surrounded by beaches and cliffs of infarct. The plan is to admire the views and take some pictures.
On the way you can make a stop in Luarca - There is a free car park right in front of the chapel.

11hPlaya del Silencio9Day 311:00hPlaya del Silencio
What would Asturias be without a beach? Today it is time to spend the morning in one of our favourites. The sound of the sea against the first line of rocks not only welcomes us from a distance, but also slows down the bravura of the sea and leaves us a calm coast to enjoy.
- If there are not many cars, we can park just before the stairs down. In high season, they make available meadows higher up for parking for about 2€.

15hCudillero, the most beautiful village in Asturias10Day 315:00hCudillero, the most beautiful village in Asturias
When hunger starts to set in, it's time to visit the famous coastal town of Cudillero. We will eat in the main square, next to the port, and then walk its steep streets to see its main places: The Amphitheatre, the Lighthouse, the Watchtower or "el Pico".
The restaurants on the square offer a similar range. If you are going in high season it is better to book in advance.

To finish this beautiful escape, we propose you to contemplate the sunset from one of the two best points of this area. If you want to arrive by car directly, from Cabo Vidio. But if you don't mind walking 10 minutes, we recommend you to enjoy this show from the most beautiful bank in the world, in the Mirador del Sablón.
Keep in mind that in summer it gets dark around 9 o'clock and in winter around 6 o'clock.
Before you travel
*Prepared for a changing time. If there is one constant in Asturias it is the non-constancy of its climate. Even if it is sunny, get ready because it can rain in a matter of minutes! *Basics in the backpack: Slippers, off-road shoes, sweatshirt, torch and camera. *Open heart, smartphone off. This is a journey of real disconnection from your life, and reconnection to the earth and to yourself. Try to avoid distractions and the noise of your daily life.
